Elton John Homestay
“Each house is a work in progress. If I weren’t a musician, I would love to be a decorator,” admits the legendary Elton John. One of four homes, John’s Nice property was built in the 1920s as an artist’s colony. “It was pink for a while, then we painted it yellow,” interior designer Dilger Gibson says. “That’s very much Elton’s spirit. ‘I’ve enjoyed it pink, let’s love it yellow.’ Everything is always changing.” Above: Egyptian Déco statues of the four seasons decorate the pool area.
